I trusted you… let my guard and my wall down.

I put down the draw bridge over the moat around my fortress of solitude to allow you into my castle of secrets and you betrayed me.

I thank the creator everyday that I was able to come to my senses and rid myself of your binding compulsory hold

…and breathe.

In that moment, with that breath came clarity and due to that clarity I was finally able to see you for who you truly are, inside out rather then outside in.

Your beauty radiates beyond a thousand suns and moons combined, you were once my star but it seems that the light that once caught my attention has now become replaced with a facade
